Overview

AWS is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Data Center Security Manager to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team.

• As a Data Center Security Manager (individual contributor) you will drive operational security excellence in several facilities located within a short driving distance.
• Identify physical security gaps and drive fixes immediately.
• Interface with and direct vendors involved in new security construction, repairs, daily security operations and patrols, and planning.
• Extract metrics and observe improvements by analyzing hard data.
• Recommend improvements to electronic surveillance and access controls.
• Direct efforts to educate data center occupants on false alarm reductions.
• Write and implement security processes and procedures.
• Write reports, create presentations, and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.

• Experience with access control and CCTV systems
• 6+ months' experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment
• Additional education or training in security-related fields is a plus
• Bachelor's degree or background in one or more of:
  Military, Law Enforcement with Arrest Authority, TSA Security Screening, or Correctional Facility Officer
• 2+ years Security experience or equivalent (demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education)
• 1+ year Leadership experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your package will include sign-on payments and RSUs.

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave. Location details: USA, NV, Sparks - 27.00 - 48.00 USD hourly.
