MRI Technologist

Northern Nevada Medical Center is looking for a dynamic MRI Technologist
! This position is full time, offers full benefits and a convenient flexible schedule working Fri-Sun one week and Thurs-Sun the next. This individual will focus on high quality service and will be the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Determines most suitable anatomical posture and positions and shields patients accordingly
• Able to assess patient pain/claustrophobia interfering with imaging procedure - makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
• Performs MRI safety check on all patient and staff prior to entering the MRI room according to policy
• Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of burns and to patients
