ResponsibilitiesThis full‑time, day‑shift role includes:
- Assist in patient examinations and treatments under physician direction
- Collect and record vital signs – pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height – in the Electronic Medical Record
- Perform venipuncture, injections, and basic phlebotomy as directed
- Prepare clinical treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness and inventory
- Support front‑desk duties as needed
- Triage patients, schedule appointments, and manage referrals
- Pre‑authorize and document clinical tests (CT, MRI, ultrasound, etc.)
- Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and procedures

- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Ensure patient rooms, nursing station, and storage areas are stocked and clean
- Distribute referrals and keep documentation of requests/responses
- Phone/fax patient prescriptions and schedule imaging studies, dietician appointments, and cardiology testing
- Accurately perform triage, vital sign checks, injections, and phlebotomy

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certificate
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- At least 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Fluent with medical terminology
