NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHOLOGIST, Full Time RELOCATION OFFERED

Northern Nevada Medical Center is a 124-bed acute care hospital located at 2375

E. Prater Way in Sparks, Nevada, dedicated to delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare to the community.

• Preparing, measuring, and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic studies per physician orders and department policies.
• Performing and assisting with nuclear medicine studies.
• Maintaining patient safety protocols.
• Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participating in continuous quality improvement activities.

• Corroborating patient’s clinical history with procedure to ensure accurate documentation.
• Identifying, preparing, and administering radioisotopes as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner.
• Evaluating images for technical quality and ensuring proper identification is recorded.
• Administering ionizing radiation (x-ray, computed tomography) and magnetic resonance as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner.

• Graduation from an approved school of ARRTs with certification. Licensed in Diagnostic Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
• Current BLS certification.
• Required to take call/standby in Nuclear Medicine and NNMC as needed.
