NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHOLOGIST, Full Time RELOCATION OFFERED
Northern Nevada Medical Center is a 124-bed acute care hospital located at 2375
E. Prater Way in Sparks, Nevada, dedicated to delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare to the community.
- Preparing, measuring, and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic studies per physician orders and department policies.
- Performing and assisting with nuclear medicine studies.
- Maintaining patient safety protocols.
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Participating in continuous quality improvement activities.
- Corroborating patient’s clinical history with procedure to ensure accurate documentation.
- Identifying, preparing, and administering radioisotopes as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner.
- Evaluating images for technical quality and ensuring proper identification is recorded.
- Administering ionizing radiation (x-ray, computed tomography) and magnetic resonance as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner.

Qualifications- Graduation from an approved school of ARRTs with certification. Licensed in Diagnostic Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
- Current BLS certification.
- Required to take call/standby in Nuclear Medicine and NNMC as needed.
