SummaryThe Ash Group is hiring a Financial Planning Analyst (FP&A Analyst) for our client, a high-tech aerospace and defense contractor delivering complex technology solutions for national security and space exploration. This is an Onsite 6-month contract role based in Sparks, NV
, offering a pay rate of $39.00 per hour.
This position provides a unique opportunity to support the financial health of programs that protect explorers and heroes. You will provide critical analytics, oversight of resource planning, and performance measurements to ensure the accuracy of business area and corporate financial reporting.
- Compensation: $39.00 per hour.

- Conduct detailed Financial and Variance Analysis to monitor business performance, identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Participate in Indirect Rate Planning
, including overhead and general & administrative (G&A) planning for specific business units. - Support the development of comprehensive financial management plans and ensure the precision of all financial deliverables sent to corporate entities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resource planning with strategic financial objectives and corporate performance measurements.
- Assist in the preparation of high-level financial reports and presentations for leadership, focusing on P&L accuracy and forecasting.
- Support critical Month-End and Year-End closing processes
, ensuring all financial data is captured accurately and timely. - Leverage advancing financial technologies to improve modeling, forecasting accuracy, and data-driven insights.
- Professional
Experience:
Experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting. In the absence of a degree, 4 years of related experience. - Analytical
Skills:
Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and prepare accurate projections or reports. - Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
