Base Pay Range

$62.06/hr - $82.75/hr

JOB TITLE: Senior Network Engineer

LOCATION: Sparks, NV

DURATION: 6+ Month Contract to Hire

RATE RANGE: Market Rate

We are currently seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to join our team at our factory in Nevada. This role will provide network design, implementation, and operational support for our network systems in and around Sparks, NV.

• Help design and build new networks in manufacturing and support facilities
• Work closely with other team members; help on maintaining and growing existing networks
• Work with key stakeholders to support their growth and provide high availability & reliability to network
• Requirements gathering, analyze, and propose solution to networking needs
• Monitor, analyze, and report metrics of network services
• Develop automation methods to rapidly deploy, configure, and update network equipment
• Conduct product POC evaluations
• Document network knowledge base and operational “Run-Book”
• Must be able to work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidays. May require unscheduled after-hours work
• Participate in on‑call rotation

• 6+ years of experience in mid/large-scale global enterprise networking infrastructure
• Extensive experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning‑tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS,
• End‑to‑end QOS, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC‑LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, ACL and infrastructure cabling
• Strong experience with Juniper, Cisco, and Arista switches.
• Good cabling & optics knowledge
• Experience with various tools such as Protocol Analyzer, SNMP, flow, IPAM, RADIUS, Splunk, network taps, and load/stress testing
• Experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metrics
• Basic experience with Dev Ops tools and technologies
• CCNP, JNCIP preferred
