Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00AM-7:00PM
Sign-On Bonus:
- Experienced Nurses:
Up to $10,000 - New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience):
Up to $5,000

Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care; maintains accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients; evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers; coordinates patient care with other departments; maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information; performs duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
Certifications:
- Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications

Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred - Experience:
Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
