We're hiring a full‑time Automotive Transmission Technician to join our Spanish Fort, AL shop and become a pivotal part of our talented and dedicated team. If you're experienced in the industry and ready to take the next step in your mechanical career, this is the opportunity for you!

You'll work from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and 7:30 am to 11:30 am on Fridays with NO WEEKENDS! When you join us, not only will you earn $20.00 – $30.00/hour (based on experience), but you'll also enjoy the following benefits and perks:

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience as an R&R technician or a similar role
• Successful completion of 2+ transmission removals and replacements in the past 2 months
• Ability to remove/replace a transmission in book time or less
• Ability to provide and use basic tools
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge and problem‑solving skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy parts and keep up with a fast‑paced environment
• Valid driver's license and the ability to operate FWD, RWD, AWD, and 4x4 vehicles

Our Automotive Transmission Technician works closely with the service team to complete accurate removals and replacements for automatic and manual transmissions in an efficient, timely manner. To succeed, you'll need to be able to use diagnostic tools, assist with hands‑on troubleshooting, and correctly work with drivetrain components (CV axles, mounts, drive lines, and transfer cases).

You will be responsible for test‑driving all types of vehicles for diagnostics, completing external inspections, and performing general transmission services like pan drops and filter/fluid changes. No matter what you're doing, you'll make sure to give every job your best effort. You'll also help move disabled vehicles in and out of the shop, keep the bay clean and organized, and handle other tasks as needed.
