Foundational Compliance Role in a Fast-Growing Education Organization

Indigo Institute is urgently hiring a Compliance & Licensure Officer to oversee regulatory compliance, licensure tracking, and approval processes across our dental assisting programs.

This is a critical role responsible for protecting the foundation of Indigo's operations — ensuring we remain fully compliant with state dental boards, education regulators, and certification requirements as we grow into new markets.

What You'll Be Doing

• Ensure ongoing compliance with state dental boards and education regulators. (including California Dental Board requirements)

• Track instructor licenses, credentials, and renewal deadlines

• Oversee approval and documentation requirements for certification courses

• Maintain audit-ready records, files, and compliance reporting systems

• Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews

• Coordinate with legal, regulatory, and compliance consultants

• Monitor regulatory changes and implement internal updates

• Support new-state expansion approvals and applications

• Verify all instructors meet teaching, credential, and regulatory standards

What We're Looking For

• Experience in regulatory compliance, healthcare compliance, or education administration

• Strong documentation, organization, and audit-management skills

• Familiarity with dental boards, vocational education, or healthcare regulations preferred

• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage compliance across multiple states and agencies

• Comfortable working in an on-site office environment
