Graphic Artist​/Customer Experience Specialist

Position Overview

Smash Athletics is looking for a skilled Graphic Artist who also excels in customer communication and project coordination. This role combines creative design work with direct customer interaction --- helping bring custom athletic apparel concepts to life while ensuring a smooth, professional experience from proof to production.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Create and modify graphics for sublimated jerseys and athletic apparel
• Prepare print-ready files for production (layouts, color setup, sizing, numbering)
• Build mockups and customer proofs quickly and accurately
• Maintain brand standards and consistent artwork quality
• Work closely with production teams to ensure designs translate correctly to fabric

• Communicate directly with customers regarding artwork, revisions, and approvals
• Interpret customer ideas into clean, manufacturable designs
• Manage proof revisions and ensure deadlines are met
• Provide a professional, positive experience throughout the order process
• Help guide customers on best design practices and garment layout

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw (required)
• Strong understanding of vector artwork and print production workflows
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders at once
• Detail-driven with strong organizational habits
• Experience in apparel, screen printing, or sublimation is highly preferred

• Knowledge of jersey numbering systems and athletic uniform design
• Understanding of dye sublimation or large-format printing
• Fast proofing and layout skills
• Manufacturing or production environment experience
