About the School

Triangle C of E Primary School are seeking a highly motivated and inspirational School Business Manager with strong organisational and interpersonal skills to join our friendly school team.

Role Overview

The School Business Manager (SBM) will hold a key post of senior responsibility within the school. Report directly to the Head, the SBM will be responsible for ensuring all financial and non-teaching aspects of the school run efficiently and effectively. The SBM will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SMT) and will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s services.

Key Responsibilities and Skills
  • Highly motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, using initiative to troubleshoot independently.
  • Significant experience in administration, including overseeing and managing the work of others.
  • Expertise to lead, develop, and supervise administrative, financial, and HR systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to handle situations diplomatically and tactfully.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, “can-do” attitude.
  • Proficient in ICT, with excellent technical skills to support day-to-day operations.
