Crown Hotel

The Crown is a prominent pub in the centre of the affluent market town of Southwell. Inside the pub is a large open plan one room operation- including bar tables, cosy corners, and pub games with designated pool and darts areas. There are also 6 letting rooms available above the pub. Popular with the village's local residents and circuit drinkers at weekends, The Crown mainly caters for locals at the moment.

But there is scope for opportunity here with the large amount of tourists that visit the town each year for the Southwell races, and the many events at Southwell Minster.

The Crown is currently averaging 6,500 a week with 85% of the sales mix being wet led, 10% food and 5% rooms. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and being the heart of their community. Ideally you will also have experience running a simple but consistent food offer, and knowledge of how to maximise room occupancy and sales.

• 20% share of weekly wet sales, excluding VAT.
• Keep 100% of the food sales.
• Low ingoing costs, starting with just a 5,000 deposit and 360 legal cost. (deposits can vary dependant on business - ask us for more details)
• Accommodation included with most bills covered, except the council tax & TV License.
