About the Role

Multitask Recruitment Solutions are recruiting an experienced Fabricator / MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturer within the gym equipment industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on fabricator who can work from drawings, fabricate components from raw materials, and complete assemblies to a high standard as part of a skilled production team.

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday

* 8:30am – 5:00pm

* Overtime available

Key Responsibilities

* Fabricate and assemble steel components from engineering drawings

* Carry out MIG welding to a high standard on mild steel components

* Measure, cut, drill, and prepare materials prior to fabrication

* Assemble frames and structures in line with technical specifications

* Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, strength, and finish

* Use fabrication tools and equipment safely and effectively

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

* Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

* Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Fabricator / Welder in a manufacturing or industrial environment

* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Confident in MIG welding and general fabrication techniques

* Experience working with mild steel

* Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship

* Assembly experience is advantageous

* Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player
