We are looking for an experienced Java SDET Lead to lead our test automation team. This role involves designing and implementing advanced automation frameworks, driving quality initiatives, and mentoring team members. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills, deep knowledge of testing strategies, and leadership experience in Agile environments, primarily using Java to build automation solutions that validate backend services, MABL, APIs, and integrations.

What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of SDETs and oversee automation strategy.
- Define best practices for test automation and quality assurance.
- Automation Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit.
- API & Integration Testing:
- Validate RESTful APIs and microservices using Rest Assured or similar tools.
- CI/CD Integration:
- Implement automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
- Work closely with development, QA, and Dev Ops teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Performance & Security Testing:
- Drive initiatives for load testing and security compliance.
- Guide junior SDETs and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering.
- Experience with test automation tools (Postman, mabl, SOATest, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, performance testing (e.g., JMeter), and API contract testing (e.g., Pact, Swagger).
- Proficiency with cloud environments (preferably PCF; AWS/GCP also acceptable).
- Working knowledge of SCM and Dev Ops tools (Git Hub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Git Hub Actions, etc.).
- Experience with Agile/SAFe development practices and exploratory testing.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools for bug tracking and test case management (JIRA/MTM, Zephyr/HPQ).
- Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple geographically distributed QA projects with concurrent releases, including scoping, sizing, and risk assessment.
- Experience with web services virtualization and test data management.
- Comfortable representing QA in product code reviews and leading/coordinating India-based SDET team members.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures.
