* Education:

* Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
* Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred):
* Current Texas professional Nursing license required
* Current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required

Work experience:

* 5 or more years nursing management experience

* Duty 1:
Develops and implements strategic plans and goals in conjunction with MHD Strategic
* imperatives and MSMC Strategic Goals.
* Duty 2:
Ensures development and implementation of appropriate system to facilitate optimal
* operations.
* Duty 3:
Recruits, hires and coaches leadership team members. Oversees human resources and staff
* development operations.
* Duty 4:
Establishes professional relationship with the medical staff to work collaboratively in
* program planning and addressing clinical practice issues.
* Duty 5:
Develops budgets. Supervises operating within appropriate financial guidelines. Explains
* budgetary variances.
* Other duties as assigned.

Methodist Southlake Medical Center is a 54-bed, acute care hospital serving Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, and northeastern Tarrant County in North Texas.
