Mallard is a strategy-first creative agency built for founder-led brands. We combine brand storytelling, strategic clarity, and world-class creative to help companies grow with purpose. Our Brand Managers are at the center of everything — driving clarity, elevating client experience, and bringing strategy to life across creative and execution.
We’re looking for a full-stack Brand Manager:
Someone who can own the strategy, lead the client, and execute the work when needed. A thinker, a doer, a collaborator, and a leader. This is not a siloed role. This is a high-capacity, high-responsibility, high-impact position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, idea-rich, founder-centric environment.
Execution & Campaign Deployment (60%)
- Roll up your sleeves to build and schedule marketing initiatives, including:
- Email campaigns and sequences (Klaviyo, Hub Spot, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Social media content calendars and posts
- Light copywriting for emails, ads, landing pages, and social
- Basic reporting and insights on campaign performance
- Support content production: reviewing assets, coordinating feedback, and ensuring quality and alignment.
- Step in to unblock workflow when creative, production, or content teams need support.
Client Management & Communication (20%)
- Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for a portfolio of clients.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with founders, executives, and marketing teams.
- Push back respectfully and guide clients toward stronger decisions when needed — you are not an order-taker.
- Manage expectations, timelines, deliverables, and communication across all projects.
- Anticipate client needs, solve problems before they escalate, and maintain clarity even in fast-moving environments.
Project Management (20%)
- Own the workflow from strategy → creative → execution → reporting.
- Build clean briefs, timelines, priorities, and internal communication plans.
- Coordinate with designers, copywriters, developers, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain QA across all deliverables for accuracy, brand consistency, and excellence.
- Keep multiple accounts organized, prioritized, and moving — even under pressure.
- A strategic thinker who understands how brand, creative, and marketing connect.
- A proactive problem solver who brings recommendations, not questions.
- A confident communicator who can lead calls, guide founders, and defend ideas.
- A creative-minded marketer who understands design, messaging, storytelling, and digital experience.
- A high-capacity operator who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding agency environment.
- A team collaborator who brings positive energy, clarity, and initiative.
- A hands-on executor who’s not afraid to build an email, drop a caption, or manage campaign assets.
- Hungry to learn, willing to own outcomes, and excited to grow with a rapidly evolving agency.
- 3–6 years experience in brand management, marketing, account management, or creative strategy.
- Experience working in or with an agency environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of brand storytelling, positioning, and creative direction.
- Ability to think conceptually AND execute tactically.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, social scheduling tools, and basic analytics.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple clients, competing deadlines, and shifting priorities.
- Calm and confident under pressure — you run toward problems, not away from them.
- Work directly with founders and high-growth brands.
- Be part of a small, sharp, high-impact team where your work matters.
- Creative autonomy, strategic visibility, and meaningful ownership.
- Fast-moving environment where no two days look the same.
- Real growth path toward Senior Brand Manager, Brand Strategist, or Client Director roles.
