Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (Full-Time conversion for the right candidate)

We are looking for a Senior Identity & Security Engineer to join our team and lead efforts around identity and access management, network security, and emerging threat mitigation. This is a hands‑on technical role that requires strong independent judgment, excellent communication, and deep experience with modern identity federation and infrastructure security tools.

• Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management solutions using Ping Federate, PingID, and Ping Access
• Monitor new and emerging security threats from various sources and assist in creating product detection mechanisms
• Manage and troubleshoot containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement and maintain security technologies including L2/L3 firewalls, application layer security, IDS/IPS, anti‑virus, DDoS mitigation, and VPN/VoIP security
• Perform network trace analysis and troubleshooting to ensure the highest levels of system assurance
• Support wireless security, traffic profiling, anomaly detection, and penetration testing initiatives
• Collaborate cross‑functionally while maintaining strong documentation and communication practices

• 5-8 years of hands‑on experience in identity management and/or security engineering
• Proven hands‑on experience with Ping Federate (Ping Fed, PingID, Ping Access)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container technologies
• Working knowledge of Linux, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of security implementation experience
  
  Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HYPR, Affim, or passwordless authentication technologies
  • Familiarity with spyware/malcode tools and wireless security protocols
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a self-starter mindset
