GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer II. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions, ensuring the organization’s security posture aligns with best practices and regulatory requirements. The Engineer participates in security operations including incident response and vulnerability management, works with ITiby stakeholders to align security with business needs, and documents security designs, policies, and procedures.

• déco Monitoring & Incident Response: monitor detection and EDR mechanisms to identify potential threats and assist in responding to incidents; conduct Threat Intel monitoring and act on emerging or confirmed threats.
• Vulnerability Management: participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation of security weaknesses.
• Security Orchestration and Automation: automate tasks where possible, using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Security Controls Compliance: review relevant security controls (NIST, SOC, HITRUST, CMMC, etc.) to ensure enterprise compliance; document and track vulnerabilities and control deficiencies.
• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): plan and implement security for current and future domains, manage requirements for M&A integration, and build and document new locations according to industry best practices.
• Customer Support & Assessments: engage with customers and auditors to address technical concerns and resolve issues; develop and coordinate test strategies, plans, procedures, and reports.
• Documentation: create and maintain documentation related to network configurations/diagrams, mapping, processes, daily checklists, service records, control matrices, corrective action plans, risk registers, POAMs, SSP, etc.
• Operations: monitor 직원 tickets and ensure timely response within SLAs; conduct audits, maintain hardening standards, assist in disaster recovery planning and testing. Constantly explore new technologies.
• Cross Domain Support: partner with Networking and IT Infrastructure to address risks, maintain secure configurations, diagnose root causes, and resolve problems.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / STEM or other technical/scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years IT related work; preferred 3+ years in a security discipline.
• Enterprise level Network/System Administration or Engineering experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, networks, and security technologies (IPS, firewalls, TCP/IP, protocols, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, authentication).
• Working familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and other security frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, GCIH, CEH, Security+, CCNA Security or equivalent; cloud certifications are a plus.

• Demonstrated administration of security platforms and best practices.
• Problem analysis and resolution at operational and tactical levels.
• Experience deploying security solutions, including automation of repeatable tasks and controls.
• Experience with vulnerability and penetration tools, remediation, and processes.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
