The Laundry Chute Attendant is responsible for emptying and sorting linen that comes down from the guest rooms floors in the linen chute room.  Once linen is sorted, it is transported to the main onsite laundry facility.

* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

*** Efficiently sort all linens by designated categories and ensure proper loading into laundry transport carts for seamless processing.
* Transport fully loaded laundry carts—potentially weighing up to 500 pounds—across distances up to 200 yards, including traversing inclines, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
* Accurately track and document the number of carts accumulated throughout each shift to support inventory management and operational flow.
* Consistently uphold the cleanliness and orderliness of all work areas and equipment, promptly reporting any maintenance issues or deficiencies to supervisory staff.
