Medical Assistant/Clinical Service Specialist – Full Time – Southlake, TX
VIVO Infusion, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant/Clinical Service Specialist to join our team in Southlake, TX. In this role, you will provide essential support to our medical team, patients, and the infusion center, ensuring safe, compassionate care in accordance with all external and internal guidelines and regulations.
Compensation- Pay Range: $20–$24 per hour
- Bonus Plan Target: 5% annually (based on performance)

Reports to: Clinical Operations Manager
Primary Responsibilities- Perform a variety of patient care activities in accordance with standards of practice.
- Room clinic patients in person or virtually and update the patient chart with required information.
- Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses to ensure quality and continuity of care.
- Provide administrative and front‑end support: greet patients, assist with scheduling, manage phone calls, and process payments.
- Ensure efficient turnover of exam rooms.
- Assist providers in the exam room as requested.
- Collect, prepare, and submit ordered patient lab specimens as directed.
- Assist the Patient Services team with prior authorizations for prescribed treatments.
- Triage patient phone calls and messages and document them appropriately.
- Order and manage supplies under manager direction.
- Disinfect and stock exam rooms.
- Assist in obtaining records required for the patient’s chart.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and report patient issues as needed.
- Follow company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control.
- Handle and store hazardous materials properly.
- Maintain confidentiality of all company and patient records; adhere to HIPAA.
- Communicate schedule changes to the team and assist with rescheduling patients.
- Manage incoming mail and deliveries.
- High school graduate or equivalent (required).
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registration (required).
- CPR/BLS certification (required).
- At least 6 months’ clinical experience (required).
- One year in an administrative or customer service role (preferred).
- Phlebotomy and lab processing skills (preferred).
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills for electronic recordkeeping.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
