Job Overview

Eyes Now, a private optometry practice, is seeking a professional and dedicated Medical Front Desk Receptionist/Optometric Technician. The role involves ensuring the smooth daily flow of patients by providing exceptional administrative support and assisting with optometric services. As the first point of contact, you will create a welcoming environment while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk Administration: Manage emails, calls, texts, faxes, mail, chat channels; greet patients; check-in and check-out patients; schedule and confirm appointments.

Medical Billing and Collections: Verify insurance benefits, create invoices, sell contact lenses, and collect payments.

Optometric Services: Assist physicians with patient history documentation, pressure checks, imaging, and contact lens fittings.

Clinic Operations: Perform opening and closing duties and report daily metrics.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office.
Experience as an optometric technician or similar role (preferred).
Knowledge of electronic medical records and healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
Understanding of billing, collections, insurance verification, and invoicing.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Additional Details

This is a full-time position, requiring 30-40 hours per week, with availability Monday through Sunday. Candidates must reliably commute to Southlake, TX 76092, or plan to relocate before starting.
