Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Versacor is seeking a dedicated and skilled Accountant to drive accuracy, efficiency, and financial insight throughout our organization. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring the integrity of our financial systems, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely reporting to support key business decisions. The successful candidate will oversee core accounting functions, manage budgets and forecasts, and help strengthen internal controls.

• Manage core accounting functions, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate and prepare budgets and financial forecasts, and report on variances as needed.
• Prepare and publish accurate and timely monthly financial statements.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax filings in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Establish, monitor, and enforce accounting policies and procedures to guide financial decisions.
• Develop and document business and accounting processes to strengthen internal controls.
• Provide financial insights and support to management by translating accounting data into actionable business information.
• Perform additional accounting duties as required to support the team and organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
• CPA certification or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience preparing financial statements, managing general ledger functions, and completing month-end/year-end close processes.
• Proficiency with accounting software systems (Sage preferred).
• Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
• Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial information into clear business insights.
