Accounting Manager, Southlake

Overview

We are working with a service company in the Southlake area that is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team. This companys has a great culture, strong benefits, unlimited PTO, a hybrid schedule (ONLY 2 days per week in office and that is on a permanent basis). This position will pay 120K-125K+10% Bonus.

The ideal candidate will be a CPA and has 7-10 years of experiece. They will manage 2 Senior Accountants and 1 Staff Accountant. Multi-entity and Multi-location experience is a plus.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple locations/entities
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across all locations
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Support budgeting and forecasting in partnership with FP&A and operations
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and reporting packages
• Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Identify and implement process improvements to scale accounting operations
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff across locations
• Partner with operations and leadership to support location-level performance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA is required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience supporting multi-location, multi-entity, or distributed operations
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with consolidations and intercompany accounting
• ERP system experience; multi-location ERP exposure preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
