** Pay Rate:**  $21.50 per hour

** Position Summary*
* The Assembly Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, performing product segregation, conducting quality inspections, documenting results, and performing manual assembly tasks as needed. This role includes performing basic preventive maintenance, equipment changeovers, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with SOPs, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The operator will also perform data collection and support product dispositioning.

** Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience*
* + Must be at least 18 years old

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ Less than 1 year of experience; manufacturing background preferred

** Work Environment*
* + Work involves operating manufacturing equipment or working in close proximity to machinery

+ Possible exposure to biohazards and/or chemicals

+ Work areas may range from clean rooms with gowning requirements to open production environments with noise and moving equipment

+ Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, crouching, climbing, and repetitive bilateral hand and upper‑body movements

+ Requires concentrated visual attention for product and component inspections

+ Travel is typically less than 5%

Duties & Responsibilities *
* + Perform equipment start‑up and ongoing inspections per applicable documentation

+ Segregate and disposition product based on inspection results

+ Conduct shop‑floor data collection

+ Perform manual assembly and product rework tasks as needed

+ Take action to prevent product and process nonconformances; generate nonconformance reports and holds when required

+ Scan product in the MRP system; perform computer‑based testing; create traceability labels

+ Identify and communicate quality or safety concerns through designated channels

+ Ensure compliance with company policies, FDA regulations, GMP, and ISO requirements

+ Assist with training new Operators

+ Perform chemical mixing operations

+ Maintain 5S standards within assigned areas

+ Model company values and support strategic initiatives

+ Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and company procedures related to environmental health and safety

+ Participate in EHS initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement

+ Perform other related duties as assigned
