Wrapper (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities- Safety first in all packaging and warehousing activities.
- Inspect material for physical damage or defects prior to packaging.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to protect material in transit.
- Construct skids, boxes, crates, and pallets.
- Measure materials using tape measures and other measuring devices.
- Operate banding and nail guns.
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Scan and stage orders in appropriate shipping and loading zones.
- Monitor linear footage of wood used to package export orders.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as directed by supervisor.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and understand English to follow work instructions.
- History of working safely and productively.
- Forklift operation experience strongly preferred.
- Basic math skills to convert decimals and fractions and to read tape measures and calipers.
- Dependable, punctual, and works well with others.
- Able to pass background check, drug screen, and physical; meet physical requirements of the position.
- Willingness to work required overtime.
