Wrapper (2nd Shift)

Job :

Number of Openings: 1

• Safety first in all packaging and warehousing activities.
• Inspect material for physical damage or defects prior to packaging.
• Select appropriate packaging materials to protect material in transit.
• Construct skids, boxes, crates, and pallets.
• Measure materials using tape measures and other measuring devices.
• Operate banding and nail guns.
• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Scan and stage orders in appropriate shipping and loading zones.
• Monitor linear footage of wood used to package export orders.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as directed by supervisor.

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and understand English to follow work instructions.
• History of working safely and productively.
• Forklift operation experience strongly preferred.
• Basic math skills to convert decimals and fractions and to read tape measures and calipers.
• Dependable, punctual, and works well with others.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, and physical; meet physical requirements of the position.
• Willingness to work required overtime.
