Winterberry Irrigation | Travel-Based Role
Winterberry Irrigation is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Project Coordinator to support and execute irrigation construction projects across commercial, residential, and golf environments. This is a field‑based leadership role for someone who thrives on‑site and takes pride in delivering high‑quality results.
Position Overview
The Project Coordinator supports successful field execution of irrigation construction projects by collaborating with internal teams, supporting field crews, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. This role involves regular travel to job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales and Estimating to review project plans prior to mobilization
- Coordinate with Project Management for scheduling, staffing, and equipment needs
- Lead and support Foremen and field crews
- Conduct on‑site layout and measurements (GPS/GPR when required)
- Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance
Troubleshoot field challenges and communicate solutions - Oversee material procurement and equipment management
- Maintain accurate documentation (daily reports, timesheets, inventory tracking)
- Attend job meetings and support project communication
- Manage travel logistics efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of irrigation construction experience (commercial, residential, or golf)
- J4 Limited Lawn Sprinkler Journeyperson license (required)
- Strong ability to read and interpret irrigation plans
- OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Valid Class I or II driver’s license and Medical Card
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, controls, turf, and installation standards
- Proficiency with MS Office and mobile technology
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 80 lbs
- Work outdoors in varying conditions
- Operate construction equipment
- Travel by vehicle and/or airplane
- Perform occasional computer‑based reporting
