This Project Estimator role involves developing estimates and bid proposals for construction projects, utilizing estimating software, and collaborating with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive cost projections.

• Develop comprehensive project estimates and bid proposals for a variety of construction projects, including but not limited to civil engineering, heavy construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Use estimating software such as Agtek, Primavera, HCSS, and Heavy Bid to accurately calculate project costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
• Conduct detailed take‑offs to determine the scope of work and required resources.
• Work closely with project managers to develop project schedules and plans, and to monitor project progress.
• Review project designs and specifications to ensure accurate cost estimates.
• Coordinate with (U)
  DBE firms to ensure compliance with diversity and inclusion requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and pricing to ensure that our estimates are competitive and accurate.
• Prepare and present project estimates and bid proposals to clients and senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on civil engineering and heavy construction projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Agtek, Primavera, HCSS, and Heavy Bid.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make accurate calculations and estimates.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Knowledge of (U)
  DBE requirements and experience working with (U)
  DBE firms is a plus.
• A professional certification in estimating or project management is preferred.
