About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support daily operations across multiple business lines within our Circular Services organization in the Southington, Connecticut office.

The Administrative Assistant will work closely with company leadership and serve as a key point of contact for customers, helping translate service requests into operational action. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service, responding promptly and professionally to phone and email inquiries from current and prospective clients.
  • Process customer orders and ensure services are accurately scheduled and fulfilled.
  • Support seasonal and year round business activities, adjusting priorities as business demands shift.
  • Draft, distribute, and maintain service agreements and related documentation.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track service requests, customer communications, and account details.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data related to routes, services, billing, and customer accounts.
  • Generate internal and external reports related to operations and service performance.
  • Coordinate logistics by reviewing routes, maps, and scheduling details to support efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient office environment, particularly during peak seasonal demands.
  • Support ownership and management with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
Minimum

Job Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
  • Comfortable reading maps and understanding routing/logistics coordination.
  • Data entry experience with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred

Job Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience working in logistics, transportation, or service-based businesses.
  • Knowledge of or interest in composting, sustainability, or environmental initiatives.
  • Motivated to contribute positively to the Connecticut community through your work.
