HVAC Technician

Compensation: $20.00 - $35.00/hour

Edwards Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our residential and commercial service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heating and cooling systems while delivering an excellent customer experience. • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning HVAC equipment, including air conditioning systems, oil furnaces and gas/oil boilers, zoning systems and related HVAC components.
• Perform annual maintenance of residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Participate in the on‑call rotation for emergency service requests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members.
• Recommend repair or replacement solutions with a customer‑first mindset.
• Accurately complete service documentation and field reporting.

• HVAC service or installation experience.
• Strong background in recommendation‑based sales and customer service.
• Technical school training preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• HVAC certifications strongly desired.
• Ability to work independently and be dispatched from home.
• Approachable personality with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

• Full‑time – Monday through Friday.
• Overtime and weekend work required as needed.

Serving Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Livingston, and Monroe Counties throughout southeastern Michigan.
