Starting Hourly Rate: $18.25 USD per hour

Asset Protection (AP) teams keep our guests, team, and brand secure. They lead through crisis events and protect sales by mitigating shortage risks, preventing, and resolving theft and fraud to ensure product availability.

• Use intelligence‑led tactics to keep team members and guests safe and secure.
• Experience in crisis response, safety, and crowd management.
• De‑escalation skills and experience with physical security controls.
• Ability to use Target’s video surveillance system.
• Timely accurate documentation in case management systems.

• Greet guests at the front of the store.
• Promote a physical security culture by maintaining safe standards.
• Respond to and document incidents promptly.
• Handle guest issues to create a safe environment.
• Use de‑escalation tactics during incidents.
• Recover merchandise theft and aid apprehension as needed.
• Prevent theft and shortage by performing merchandise receipt checks.
• Submit documentation via the case management system.
• Use video surveillance system appropriately.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and safety compliance.
• Work safely and report hazards.
• Perform any other duties as business needs.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet state/local licensure requirements.

• Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment.

• Remain mobile for shift duration.
