Base pay range$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr
As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you’ll do:
- Be a Team Member – Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service, remain flexible to business needs, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert – Plan bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs following recipe measurement instructions, work with a variety of products (e.g., decorating bags, tips, nozzles), create decorative flowers and lettering, enforce food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‐chain compliance, inventory management, operating, maintaining, and sanitizing equipment.
- Be a Techie – Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement by using handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
- Be an Owner – Drive performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, preparing for seasonal events that impact volume (holidays, graduations, family events), identifying member needs, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and resolving member issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador – Act as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience in Bakery, model high‑quality service and products, support associates in overcoming roadblocks, and contribute to training, influencing, and inspiring a respectful, supportive, and team–oriented style.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; implement related action plans and apply the Open Door Policy.
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborate with managers and coworkers, determine priorities, deadlines, and recommendations for improvement, and embrace change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00.*
Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour for specific circumstances such as schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications- 6 months of experience in Fresh Production Area.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period if hired.
- Cake decorating experience.
