At Blue Pearl Pet Hospital, our Client Service Coordinators are imperative to our hospital’s success. In this role, you will be the first Blue Pearl Associate that the client sees. You will ensure that each client receives the care and attention that they need and must be able to function calmly and compassionately in situations that can be very emotional and difficult for our clients.
Responsibilities- Greet clients and make friendly eye contact every time the hospital entry door opens to offer a professional acknowledgement.
- Offer a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
- Act as a compassionate listener.
- Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the telephone in a way that clients easily understand.
- Assess immediately upon arrival each client’s needs and the pet’s general condition.
- Determine whether an emergency arrival is a “stat” versus a “standard” emergency.
- Respond to non‑patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
- Confirm all appointments in advance to ensure clients receive accurate information about preparing their pet for the appointment.
- Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients in a compassionate and discreet manner.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and service agencies during handling of pet remains by ensuring a complete, accurate, and compassionate process.
