Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Schedule, perform and oversee any preventive maintenance work to minimize downtime, improve efficiency
Provide technical assistance in PLC's,
Assists to resolve problems with all mechanical and electrical equipment
Provide training where necessary
Resolve problems at the root cause
Enforce all Safety policies, hot work programs, LOTO, as well as enforcement of GMP procedures within department and facility.
Manage projects in assigned areas for improvements or growth of the business/ facility.
Ensure company rules and regulations are followed and enforced with any outside company visitors or workers in and around the facility.
Responsible for shift change report and communication of work to next shift
Identify opportunities for cost saving project
QualificationsHigh School Diploma required
Technical training preferred in related fields
Abiltiy to read and troubleshoot VFD's & PLC's, drives, Robotics, Computer theory preferred
Thorough knowledge of food processing and manufacturing equipment will be given greater consideration
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
PLC troubleshooting, supervisor experience: 2 years
