Position Overview

This position is responsible for managing all assigned projects from initial business case development through completion and archival, using established project management processes and tools. The Project Manager ensures the success of each project and oversees related publications and training products, including translations, periodic reviews, maintenance, improvements, and withdrawal from circulation when appropriate.

The role also supports broader program management efforts by helping address critical issues in the automotive supply chain, recruiting volunteers and subject matter experts, coordinating resources, and facilitating project logistics for Quality initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all phases of assigned projects using established project management methodologies.
  • Develop and facilitate business cases for new and ongoing projects
  • Ensure successful project initiation, execution, and completion.
  • Oversee project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Manage assigned publications and training courses, including updates, translations, and lifecycle decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with anti-trust and copyright policies through agendas, announcements, minutes, and release forms.
  • Support development and execution of product marketing and sales plans.
  • Provide oversight for strategic plans and business plan budgets related to assigned projects.
  • Support internal Quality Management System (QMS) and continuous improvement (CI) activities
Required Background and Skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects or programs
  • Auditing skills in Automotive (IATF)
  • Knowledge of core Quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 4-6 years of professional experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience
  • Working proficiency with Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
