Position Overview

The Lobb Law Firm is seeking a motivated and driven Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of personal injury experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall cases, and dog bite claims
, and will be eager to take ownership of cases while continuing to grow as a trial-ready attorney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of personal injury matters through every aspect of litigation
  • Handle cases involving auto accidents, slip and falls, and dog bites
  • Conduct thorough case investigations, including reviewing police reports, medical records, photographs, witness statements, and other evidence
  • Work with clients, experts, and investigators to develop liability and damages
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement demands
  • Negotiate claims with insurance carriers and defense counsel
  • Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances as needed
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff as a team player
  • Maintain regular and compassionate communication with clients
  • Ensure compliance with all ethical and professional standards
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license and in good standing with the Michigan Bar
  • 1–3 years of experience in personal injury law (required)
  • Experience investigating and litigating auto accident, premises liability, and dog bite cases
  • Strong legal writing, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and support firm goals
  • Excellent communication and client-service skills
