About the Role
Ultimate Staffing is seeking experienced Legal Secretaries and Legal Assistants to support our local Detroit, MI clients. These opportunities vary from project-based to full‑time open positions. Please submit your resume for consideration.
Base Pay Range$23.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Key Responsibilities- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Maintain and organize case files, both physical and electronic.
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and court appearances; manage attorney calendars.
- Communicate with clients, courts, and other parties professionally and promptly.
- Perform legal research and assist with case preparation as needed.
- Handle billing, time entry, and expense tracking.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and legal procedures.
- Legal Secretary: 2+ years in a legal administrative role.
- Legal Assistant: 2+ years supporting attorneys or legal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with court filing systems and e‑filing procedures preferred.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and processes.
