Associate Attorney

Segal McCambridge, a National Law Firm With Offices In 16 States Is Looking To Hire An Associate Attorney (0-3 Years Of Experience) To Join Our Expanding Southfield, Michigan Office. This Associate Position Is Ideal For a Newer Motivated Michigan-licensed Attorney Who Wants Meaningful Responsibility And a Diverse Legal Experience Involving Many Areas Of Law Involving Both Litigation And Transactions In a Supportive, Team-oriented Environment.

• Real Estate and Business litigation and transactional work
• Premises Liability, Transportation/Trucking and General Liability matters
• Michigan No-Fault (PIP) and Automobile Negligence matters

• Act as co-counsel with 3 Segal McCambridge shareholders on their files
• Manage cases from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs
• Take and defending depositions
• Appear in court for hearings, case evaluations, and mediations

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan (required)
• 0-3 years of experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters efficiently
• Confident communicator with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
• Newer attorneys with litigation internships, clerkships, or clinical experience are strongly encouraged to apply
