Our client, a family-owned tire distributor that has been a staple in the communities where it does business throughout Michigan, northern Ohio, Indiana and Illinois is looking for a Front End Marketing Engineer. As the Front End Marketing Engineer, you will serve as a critical technical liaison between Digital Marketing and Engineering, translating marketing strategy into high-performing, customer-facing web experiences

  • 3–5+ years professional front-end development with React and Type Script
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS and modern build tooling
  • Hands‑on ownership of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4
  • Experience integrating Contentful (or other headless CMS) with React applications
  • Practical experience designing/running A/B tests and interpreting results with cross‑functional partners
  • Familiarity with Contentsquare (or similar product analytics/session replay) for UX diagnostics.
  • Strong grasp of web performance, accessibility, and responsive design
  • Proficiency with Git, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD
  • This role blends modern front end development expertise with a strong understanding of digital marketing measurement, experimentation, and optimization. You will build, optimize, and maintain scalable React applications while owning analytics, tagging, and experimentation frameworks that enable data‑driven decision making
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, UI/UX, and Engineering teams to scope requirements, validate hypotheses, and deliver iterative enhancements in an agile environment
  • Acting as both a hands‑on engineer and a marketing technology expert, you will ensure implementations meet performance, accessibility, SEO, privacy, and security standards while providing clear insights into user behavior and campaign effectiveness
  • Through experimentation, analytics, and continuous optimization, you will help evolve digital experiences and empower Marketing with reliable, actionable technical solutions
  • Build, optimize, and maintain customer facing UI with React + Type Script and Tailwind
  • CSS, ensuring performance, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and SEO best practices
  • Implement, govern, deploy and validate tags and pixels in Google Tag Manager
  • Maintain and own Google Analytics reporting
  • Stand up and execute A/B and multivariate tests, from hypothesis through rollout and post test recommendations
  • Integrate front end apps with a headless CMS: content modeling, preview, localization, and editor friendly components
  • Instrument user journeys and diagnose UX friction using Contentsquare (or equivalent); translate findings into actionable UI improvements
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, UI/UX, and Engineering to scope requirements, estimate effort, and ship iteratively in an agile environment
  • Enforce quality via automated tests, CI checks, and analytics validation; monitor Core Web Vitals and guardrail budgets
  • Document components, tagging schemas, experiment setups, and CMS integration patterns for repeatable delivery and governance
  • Uphold privacy and security expectations across all implementations
