Lakeland Optalis is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our housekeeping and laundry departments. The ideal candidate will ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff, while effectively managing the housekeeping and laundry teams.

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping and laundry staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with Lakeland Optalis policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping and laundry team members to promote professional development and performance.
• Manage scheduling, workflow, and inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry materials.
• Conduct regular inspections of resident rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities to ensure quality standards are met.
• Address and resolve any housekeeping or laundry-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall facility operations and resident satisfaction.

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor, preferably within a healthcare or residential care setting.
• Strong knowledge of Lakeland Optalis housekeeping and laundry procedures and standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to train and motivate staff effectively.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to housekeeping and laundry operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in housekeeping or facility management is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in housekeeping and laundry operations.
