Registered Respiratory Therapist - Day Shift - Weekends Only;
Southfield
Join Henry Ford Health as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Southfield, MI. This full-time position offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus based on eligibility.
Schedule: 36 hours per week, day shifts from 7AM to 7:30PM, weekends only. We can accommodate alternate schedules such as Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun, Mon.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and care for patients with respiratory issues.
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
- Implement and monitor respiratory treatments and equipment.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust as needed.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and community resources.
- Respond to emergency codes as part of the resuscitation team.
- Associate's or technical degree, or 4 years of relevant experience.
- 3-5 years ICU experience preferred, NICU experience a plus.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association).
- Michigan Licensed Respiratory Therapist credential.
- Advanced Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications preferred.
