We are seeking a medical social worker to join our team of professionals who are dedicated to providing a safe, therapeutic, and independent living environment for our residents.

• Assess and provide care plans for adults and children with developmental disabilities in the community.
• Provide support for adults and children with developmental disabilities as needed.
• Participate in the planning of activities for individuals and groups in the community.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, health care, and other services to individuals with developmental disabilities in the community.
• Participate in case conferences as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information regarding individuals who receive services from you.
• Participate in staff meetings and participate in staff development programs as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of health care billing procedures preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others within the organization as well as outside the organization.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in completing tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions including inclement weather conditions such as inclement weather conditions, outdoor activities, etc...
