Manages the daily operations of pharmacy services.

• Develops and implements performance improvement activities to include medication safety, medication use evaluation and Pharmacoeconomics.
• Conducts competency assessments and coordinates the training and development of pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students.
• Develops and manages departmental budget to promote Pharmacoeconomics.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Also serves on various committees.

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• 3 years of hospital experience required.
• 1 year of leadership or management experience required.
• Compounding oversight experience preferred USP
  797, USP 795 and USP 800.
• Demonstration of increasing responsibility / oversight in past roles preferred.
• Advanced degree or Master's degree preferred.
• PGY1 Residency training or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2-3 years of leadership experience preferred.

• Pharmacist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  
  - Board certification in Oncology or Sterile Compounding preferred
