Build the Financial Engine Powering the Future of Healthcare

At EPIC Health, we are more than a healthcare organization—we are a rapidly expanding, multi-entity healthcare ecosystem committed to increasing access to high-quality, integrated care nationwide.

Our organization spans medical practices, laboratories, pharmacies, technology platforms, and healthcare-related real estate. With national expansion underway, we are building a finance infrastructure designed to scale intelligently and sustainably.

We are seeking a high-performing, growth-minded Controller who is ready to step into executive financial leadership.

You will work directly with the Finance Director and current Controller, gaining mentorship while taking ownership of critical accounting functions immediately.

If you’re ready to accelerate your career and help architect the financial backbone of a national healthcare platform, this is your opportunity.

What You’ll Do

Own the monthly close process across multiple healthcare entities.

Prepare and oversee consolidated GAAP financial statements.

Lead reconciliations, accruals, and multi-entity reporting structures.

Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting for executive leadership.

Operational Oversight

Oversee purchasing, accounts payable, and payroll functions.

Strengthen controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Establish scalable workflows that support national growth.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Analysis

Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives across business lines.

Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable financial insights.

Build financial models to support expansion, capital planning, and operational decisions.

Systems, Process & Infrastructure Development

Drive ERP enhancements, automation initiatives, and reporting improvements.

Implement scalable accounting systems that support multi-state operations.

Identify and execute process improvements to increase visibility and control.

Audit, Compliance & Risk Management

Manage internal and external audits.

Ensure compliance with multi-state financial reporting and regulatory requirements.

Oversee fixed assets, capital projects, and related accounting schedules.

Mentor and develop accounting and AP staff.

Establish accountability standards and performance expectations.

Prepare to assume full Controller responsibilities within 9–12 months.

What You Bring
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience (Assistant Controller or Controller-level experience preferred).

Strong GAAP expertise and experience in multi-entity or multi-location environments.

Advanced knowledge of purchasing, accounts payable, and payroll operations.

Extremely advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, dashboards, automation, scenario analysis).

ERP proficiency (Net Suite, Dynamics, Sage, or similar platforms).

Demonstrated ability to lead, build systems, and operate in growth environments.

Preferred Qualifications

CPA strongly preferred.

Experience supporting private equity-backed or high-growth organizations.

Why Join EPIC Health?

At EPIC Health, growth isn’t theoretical—it’s happening now. We are expanding nationally and building the operational infrastructure to support it.

This role is intentionally designed as a leadership runway. We are not hiring a placeholder. We are developing our next Controller.

Here, you’ll have:

Strategic Impact: Direct influence on the financial foundation of a scaling healthcare enterprise.

Executive Exposure: Daily collaboration with senior leadership.

Multi-Entity Complexity: Experience across medical practices, labs, pharmacies, technology, and real estate.

Entrepreneurial Culture: Innovative, fast-paced, and performance-driven.

What We Offer

Generous Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay.

Professional development and leadership growth opportunities.

A high-performance, collaborative leadership environment.

Opportunity to step into a Controller role within one year.
