This role is part of EY’s dynamic indirect tax team, where you will help identify risks and sustainable planning opportunities for clients while ensuring indirect taxes are handled correctly.

Key Responsibilities- Support client consultations and challenge the unclaimed property and escheat approach for optimal effectiveness.
- Build strong client relationships and collaborate with internal resources.
- Implement knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements.
- Work in a highly collaborative culture, sharing information with colleagues.
- Provide timely and responsive services and work products to contribute to client satisfaction.
- Stay informed of current technical developments and apply knowledge to client situations.
- Thoroughly analyze information; prepare quality, practical approaches and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
- Demonstrate understanding of complex unclaimed property concepts.
- Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals.
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related work experience.
- Technical experience related to compliance, audit defense and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services.
- Performance and process advisory experience related to unclaimed property compliance.
- Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant unclaimed property consulting experience within a professional services environment.
- Ability to obtain CPA certification, be a member of the US Bar, or hold a professional designation from the IPT.

What We Offer- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $81,700 to $135,000 nationwide (with adjustments for NYC, Washington State, and California).
