Network Manager

Job Description

Stefanini, Inc. seeks a Network Manager in Southfield, MI to oversee the individuals who lead internal network related projects from initiation to delivery. They will engage on a technical level to ensure project success, managing and prioritizing the project stream and collaborating with internal customers to define project scope and business requirements. The role includes incident response when necessary and managing a team of professionals.

Technical leadership is required to ensure objectives align with the company's strategy. They will engage in strategic planning supporting global initiatives in Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN), plan, design, and implement network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, and virtual networks. Additionally they will implement and maintain data security on the LAN/WAN, support customer and LAN/WAN integrations/automations, monitor network performance, and make technical recommendations for improvements.

They will evaluate vendor relationships for network hardware, software, and services, ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organization policies, prepare and present reports on network performance, incidents, and security management, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions. Budget preparation for network hardware, software, and maintenance, execution of performance reviews, cost-saving initiatives, and general infrastructure improvements using existing and new technologies are also responsibilities.

They will oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, disaster recovery and provide expert support.

Qualified candidates must have at least two (2) years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer or a similar position utilizing all of the following technologies:
