Urgent Need IBM Web Sphere MQseries Infrastructure Engineer
Contract.
Position: IBM Web Sphere MQSeries (MQ) Infrastructure Engineering
Location: Southfield, MI
Duration: 6-12 Months
Top 3 Skills- Experience automating, configuring, installing MQ or other middleware
- Experience using monitoring tools to configure MQ e.g., Tivoli
- Experience in installation and configuration of MQ or similar middleware products on Linux, AIX, Solaris, Windows Server and AS/400.
- Experience in automating the install/config of MQ or similar middleware products, using Linux, AIX, Solaris and Windows Server scripts.
- Experience in the development of applications that use MQ, using the standard MQ APIs (Connect, Open, Put, Get).
- Experience using Tivoli-Omegamon or similar enterprise monitoring tools, preferably to monitor and configure MQ.
- A do‑whatever‑it‑takes attitude and work ethic.
- A strong desire to continually deepen MQ expertise.
- A strong desire to learn all tangential technologies and processes involved with supporting MQ at Ford.
- A strong team player and a desire to mentor and train less experienced team members.
