Location:

Southfield, MI

Your Tasks
  • Installation & Commissioning
  • Set up and configure AGV systems according to specifications.
  • Perform system integration, start-up, commissioning, and testing to ensure proper functionality.
  • Assist in launching and optimizing new equipment and systems.
  • Maintenance & Repair
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on AGVs and associated infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues (gears, reducers, motors, PLCs, sensors, etc.).
  • Execute inspections, planned maintenance, emergency service, and repairs.
  • Technical Support
  • Provide on-site and remote support to customers.
  • Document service activities, maintain accurate records, and provide recommended actions.
  • Collect system performance data and mark up drawing changes.
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, operations staff, and project teams.
  • Work independently on smaller projects or as part of a team on major installations.
  • Customer & Team Engagement
  • Represent Dürr professionally, promoting customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Your Skills
  • High School Diploma required;
    Associate degree or military/union technical experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Strong foundation in electrical debugging and PLCs (e.g., Allen‑Bradley).
  • Ability to read AutoCAD drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge a plus.
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team and adapt to change.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
