The Mike Morse Law Firm is seeking a highly organized and detail‑driven Settlements Support Specialist to join our fast‑paced Accounting & Settlements team. This role plays a key part in ensuring our clients receive timely, accurate settlement distributions while supporting providers, teammates, and internal workflows. You’ll Do

You will be a critical part of the settlement disbursement process, helping ensure smooth, accurate handling of provider payments and client checks. Daily responsibilities include:

Settlement & Provider Support
  • Assist in preparing complete, accurate settlement packets.
  • Support return and refund check workflows to ensure proper routing and tracking.
Administrative & Document Management
  • Sort, scan, route, and log incoming mail; prepare and send outgoing correspondence.
  • Manage both digital and physical files, ensuring documents are properly organized and accessible.
  • Perform routine data entry, accuracy checks, and quality control for settlement‑related documents.
  • Partner closely with the Settlements Team Leader on special projects and process improvements.
  • Provide consistent administrative support to help the team maintain efficiency and accuracy.
What You Bring
  • Previous administrative or accounting/finance‑related experience (required).
  • Associate degree in a business‑related field (preferred but not required).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with PDF, scanning, and workflow tools.
  • Clear, professional communication skills — written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
