Position: Administrative Assistant & Receptionist

Location: Southfield, MI

Job Overview:

In this job, you will be the face and voice of a CFCS location–often, the very first person that a family member will see or talk with and is responsible for making a good first impression. You will be in a multitasking position as an important resource for making all office activities run smoothly. You will have a working knowledge of the cemetery and/or funeral center operations, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities and

Qualifications:

  • Experience in an office environment, performing administrative duties, receiving multiple inbound calls, and having direct contact with the public
  • Great customer service and service recovery skills
  • Empathy and compassion for people in need
  • Ability to coordinate with internal departments
  • Skills in completing work amidst interruptions and starting and stopping
  • Mad computer skills (Microsoft Suite and CRM experience is a plus)
  • Valid Driver’s License
