Accounts Payable Analyst

A great UHY client is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 1-3 years of accounting experience, and some experience with accounts payable.

The Accounts Payable Analyst position is hybrid. This is a client direct hire position.

• Assist with entering invoices into the Accounts Payable system and matching invoices with supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process vendor payments, including check preparation and distribution.
• Coordinate payment approvals and ensure proper review and authorization.
• Maintain accurate accounting records by posting Accounts Payable transactions and organizing supporting documentation.
• Scan, file, and maintain historical accounting records.
• Reconcile processed transactions by reviewing system reports and balances.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding invoice and payment inquiries.
• Receive, organize, and track incoming invoices.
• Support monthly accounting activities as needed.
• Assist with basic treasury functions, including ACH and wire processing, transfers, stop payments, and check voids or reissues.
• Assist with administrative or front-desk duties as needed.
• Perform other ad hoc accounting or administrative tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
